Michelle & Nate

Michelle & Nate are high school sweethearts who have been dating for seven years! We had the perfect day (wow! 70 degrees in July!) for a wedding. The guys weren't too hot and the girls weren't too cold...absolutely perfect!

The ceremony took place in Lawrenceburg IN, and we took advantage of several unique locations prior to the ceremony for pictures of the couple with their bridal party.
The reception was at Dearborn Country Club in Aurora IN, and was a beautiful setting as well.

Here is the magazine sneak peak...more to come!

Kristen + Justin {Wedding}

I was excited to shoot Kristen & Justin's Wedding because Kristen was the winner of the Perfect Wedding Guide's "I do Giveawat Crew" wedding giveaway. She was so excited when we surprised her with a variety of wedding vendor gift certificates and a FREE wedding photography package from yours truly.

The ceremony took place at the Norman Chapel in Spring Grove, and we walked the grounds prior to the ceremony to capture some beautifully unique photos of the couple and their wedding party. Here is the magazine Cover teaser, more to come!

Liz + Mike {wedding}

Luckily we had beautiful weather for Liz & Mike's outdoor wedding at Shaker Run golf course this past Friday (all of those prayers really paid off!)
We started with the girls getting ready and then headed to historic Hamilton for the couple's private pictures, and finished up our pre-ceremony pictures at the Wedding site: Shaker Run Golf Club. We had a great time on the golf carts driving around finding great spots for photos. Following the beautiful ceremony performed by the bride's brother, everyone let loose and danced the night away at the reception (I love it when everyone dances!)
Here is the magazine cover, more sneak peaks to come!

Locations

I am often asked by my clients for ideas of locations for Sessions and Weddings, so I decided to sift through my pictures and provide a picture list of locations to give my clients a visual idea of which location best suits them.

Parks: Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky:

Alms Park: Pavilion & Overlook area. Large park but quaint enough to maneuver easily. Lots of trees provide nice shade

Ault Park: Largest of the popular Cincinnati Parks. Pavilion, overlook, and garden areas.

Devou Park/ Drees Pavilion: Kentucky Park with great city views of downtown Cincinnati.

Eden Park: Many areas of Eden Park from the Overlook to the Commons area, make sure to pick which part of Eden Park you want to use :)

Garfield Park: This is less of a park and more of a garden strip in the middle of downtown. The beautiful archways with sprawling flowers in the spring and magical lights in the winter, add an interesting feel your pictures.

Glenwood Gardens: Located in Glendale, this Hamilton County park is small and quaint and has many interesting attributes.

Governor’s Bebb: Located outside of Harrison OH, this eclectic mix of old world history makes for a unique location.

Hyde Park/Square: This bustling area provides the perfect backdrop for city and park photos.

Krohn's Conservatory:Great rain location, brings the outdoors inside with beautiful plants and flowers.

Mitchell's Park: Large Hamilton County Park with a lake, picnic area, and lots of shady trees.

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park: Brightly colored sculptures surround this park that also has natural beauty landmarks.

Sharon Woods: The bridge over the creek and Large Mansion on site add some unique qualities to this location.

CINCINNATI: City & Landmarks:

Clifton: Brightly colored buildings, and lots of nooks and crannies, make this one of my favorite locations for pictures!

Downtown Cincinnati: walking through the streets of Cincinnati you never know what you may see...the unexpected always provides great shots!

Fountain Square: One of Cincinnati's famous landmarks, beautiful when lit up at night.

Laurel Court: Gorgeous Mansion in College Hill with unbelieveable grounds! Japenese Garden, French Garden, Botainical Garden, and original decor make this location ONE OF A KIND!

Sawyer’s Point: River views, bridges, and brightly colored decor make this one interesting location.

Union Terminal: Unique building, sprawling fountain, and beautiful landscaping make this location a sure thing.

KENTUCKY: City Views

Covington Riverwalk & Roebling Bridge: So many interesting features in one place! City views, Bridge, Underpass, and a park make this the complete package.

Newport on the Levy & Purple People Bridge: Lit up at night and beautiful by day, the purple bridge and Newport on the Levy are sure to please.

MISCELLANEOUS: Venues & Hot Spots

Chateau Pomeji: Beautiful Winery in Guilford, IN.

Funky Locations: Go for something a little different, choose a Grafitti Wall, traintracks, or abondoned building for your next location.

The Heartland: Located in Indiana, this barn constructed from wood from a covered bridge from the 1800's is full of history and charm.

Loveland: Bring your bike and enjoy a bikeride on the Loveland trail after walking throught the quaint streets of downtown Loveland.

Mariemont: Historic Mariemont is full of character and beautiful surroundings.

Boudoir Session in Northern Kentucky

I am so glad the lovely "T" made the drive from Lexington for her Boudoir Session last week. "T" rented a room at the riverfront Marriott (which was a great space with neutral decor and LOTS of natural light) for her afternoon session. Karina from Makeup by Karina came along to do her makeup and the 3 of us had too much fun together! Here are a few sneak peaks of "T"'s Boudoir Session.

I couldn't decide wheather to post the color or black & white version, so I included them both :)
