Maranda {maternity}

Cincinnati has had one of the worst droughts in history but of course on the day that Anna & Bryan were scheduled for their engagement session it rained all day. With busy schedules all around it's sometimes tough to re-schedule, so we were able to make it still happen, and shot their session at Krohn's Conservatory in Mt. Adams. This is a special place to the couple as it is where they were engaged as well. Here are a few of my favorite's from their e-session.

I shot Caleb's Senior Session a couple years ago and he recently got married, so he wanted to have some pictures of he and his new wife together while they were on leave here in Cincinnati. Rachel & Michael's ceremony & reception were held at the Muhlhauser Barn in West Chester. This is such a unique location with the old barn & beautiful grounds. Perfect settings for the outdoor inspired theme the couple had for their wedding.

Following the indoor ceremony, the couple & wedding party headed outside for photos. The light was gorgeous, being about 30 minutes before sunset. Although we had to work quick to get the outdoor shots, they turned out beautifully and show how loving this couple is.

I loved shooting this wedding, as it was a reunion of sorts for me, having several past clients there to enjoy the day with. Here are a few of my favorites from my day with Rachel & Michael. Congrats to the new couple:)

Kristen & Jon {cincinnati engagement photographer}

Kristen was a Bridesmaid in Cassie & Coleman's Wedding back in June, so I was really excited to get to work with Kristen & Jon on their coming 2011 wedding in Columbus Ohio knowing what a fun group they will all be!

The couple lives out of town, so I met with them at Miami Oxford (where they met...awww:) while they were in town for another wedding here in Cincinnati. We got a few pictures around campus and then headed out to get some scenic field shots.

Lexi is a 2011 Senior at Springboro High School! The day of her session the weather was being iffy...it was raining one minute and then beautiful the next...and with over an hour drive for them to make it to the session we were debating whether to re-schedule her Senior Pictures. Lexi decided to give it a try anyways, and as luck would have it, it stopped raining turned off really pretty!

We shot Lexi's session downtown, and she had quite the audience of construction workers and then fireman during her session:) She shrugged it off and really rocked her session!

Meet Arrington, she is a 2011 Senior at Lakota East High School. We barely staved off a storm during her Senior Session in historic Loveland, but luckily we only had to take a short break while it sprinkled rain and were able to resume her session get all of the images she wanted for her Senior Pictures.

So where to begin...first of all I LOVE everything about this wedding! There were so many unique vintage, well thought out, & creative details throughout the day. Katie is hands down one the most creative people I've ever encountered and Jeff was so kind as to pitch in and help out where he could as well.

The couple married at Spring Grove's Norman Chapel and then had their reception at the Marquise Banquet Center. We started our day with Katie and the girls getting ready, and then met with Jeff at Spring Grove for pre-ceremony pictures. Katie & Jeff let me have free reign in picking out some obscure locations near Spring Grove for the Bridal Party pictures. Then we went back to the park for more shots before the ceremony.

You know you have a cool couple, when the limo driver gets lost...in the park they are getting married in...with the entire wedding party on the bus...and arrives 30 mins late to the wedding...and they still were all smiles!

Thank you so much guys for letting me share in your special day! Here are a few (haha - who am I kidding!) sneak peaks from their wedding day! Congrats to Katie & Jeff!

Jen & Eli's wedding fell on the most perfect day you could ask for in Cincinnati. It was not too hot, there was a breeze, and the clouds provided a gorgeous sky throughout the day! We started with the girls at the guest house at Ivy Hills Country club, which is where the reception would also take place. The couple decided to have their first meeting there and once we captured some great shots of just Jen & Eli, it was off to Ault Park for the Wedding Party Pictures.

This was such a beautiful wedding with gorgeous fall flowers and pops of colors and personal touches everywhere you looked...Here are a few (ok, maybe ALOT) of my favorites from the day!

Kristen & Joe's traditional church ceremony was followed by a beautiful reception at the VOA Park. Details and pops of color really added a personal touch to the event. Pictures of the couple were abundant and gave insight into their sweet relationship.

We headed to a nearby park for pictures of Joe & Kristen & the bridal party before their ceremony, making the day very laid back and easy going. No rushing around at the last minute to get shots here!

Then after a few hours of reception celebrations, the couple joined me outside at the beautiful park for some night time shots...

We started our day with Caylah getting ready at her condo and after the couple's first meeting outside...the whole wedding party headed down to Garfield Park for pictures before the ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Hyde Park Methodist Church, which is stunning, and then we were off for a fun filled reception in Eastgate. There were so many beautiful details, mostly all hand made with love by the bride. This ultra posh event is one that no one will soon forget! Candy & Matt live in the cuteness that is Newport so they wanted to shoot their e-session in some of the places that they like to visit on a day to day basis. We walked through the quaint streets of beautiful old homes, interesting alleys, and colorful architecture capturing unique photos along the way.

We started the session at their home with their two furry children, Zeus & Tank (I love it that they have such strong names:) I had some great ideas for the pet pictures, but Zeus and Tank just wanted to play. Oh well, they were still adorable...

Angela & Charlie's wedding took place in Dayton, Ohio. As my assistant & I pulled into the church it started to rain...supposed to be good luck to rain on your wedding day, but as a photographer I am always bummed when it does! The church that they got married in was constructed with mid-evil castle architecture in mind and is beautiful inside and out! Unfortunately, the rain never let up before the ceremony so we did not get to do the pictures outside with the church building...but once we got to the reception site at Beavercreek golf course, is was all sunshine so we got some shots of the wedding party there! (Yea, still not ever COMPLETELY rained out!)

Besides the 2 gorgeous venues, there was so much thought into the small details making this wedding truly beautiful. I LOVED the mini cakes on the family table as centerpieces! And the "perfect pair" theme played out very nicely!
